I have been posting lots of treat recipes lately, so I thought you might appreciate a quick and easy dinner idea. I got this recipe from Melanie at My Kitchen Cafe. It is delicious! My family liked it almost as much as my Pecan Crusted Salmon, and that is saying a lot! I served it with cooked carrots and a green salad and it was fabulous. A perfect way to balance out all that sugar we have been consuming. Thanks Melanie!
Tasty Grilled Salmon
1 1/2# salmon
Lemon pepper seasoning
Garlic powder
Salt
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup oil
Sprinkle salmon with lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Combine remaining ingredients and mix till sugar dissolves. Pour over salmon and chill for about 2 hours. Grill over medium heat for 6-8 minutes per side, or till fish flakes easily with a fork.
Notes:
-It was snowing outside, so we didn’t actually grill this salmon. I just placed it on a foil lined pan and broiled in on low in the oven. And it was still incredible!!
