St. Patrick’s Day. Do you decorate for it? Do you do anything to celebrate it? I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t do much in the way of St. Patrick’s Day decorations. But I have found so many amazing ideas in blog land that I’m thinking I might need to change that. I’m thinking that at the very least I should decorate my entry table. Because holey cow some of these decorations are just so darn fabulous!!
I put together a round-up so that when I get to it, I will have all the inspiration I need. Hope you like it!
Oh, and I didn’t want to forget the fun St. Patty’s food. That is one thing I do make every year. I love surprising my kiddos with fun foods. One year I had my 6 year old son help me make scrambled eggs for breakfast. While he wasn’t looking, I added some green food coloring to the skillet. It was totally UN-detectable. You should have seen the look on his face when I poured in the eggs and they turned green. PRICELESS!
I do have a few fun favorite recipes that I will be sharing in March, so check back. And if you have any favorite St. Patrick’s day traditions/ideas/recipes feel free to share them in the comments or over on my Facebook page.

My stepdaughter celebrates her birthday on March 17. I plan to use one of these ideas to surprise her with. Thanks for the post.

Oh that is so fun! I sure hope she likes the color green. ๐

Hi Kara!
You have a broken link on the last one – the green fruit salad! I really wanted to check that one out ๐ Thanks so much for sharing these ideas ๐
Kara
Lynette,
The link is actually fine, Laura’s site has just been having trouble for a couple weeks. I’ve noticed that sometimes I can’t get to it at all, but if I come back later I can view it. I just tried and her site was up, so try the link again.
I sure feel bad for her, that really stinks!

Kara!! This is such fantastic roundup! This makes me wish I had been doing some St. patrick’s Day projects. Sadly I haven’t done anything yet! Thanks for featuring both my Leprechaun Pie and button art–you made my day!
Kara
I know what you mean. I haven’t actually made anything myself either. But we still have time, right?
Lorraine
Thank you for the link to my Ice-cream Shamrock Cookies ๐

You are very welcome. They look so darn yummy! And they are darling, so it’s a double bonus. ๐
