Looking for quick and easy patriotic decor? This free printable 4th of July Art can be whipped up in minutes!
Since today is Flag Day, I thought it only appropriate that I share a quick and easy flag project. The 4th of July is right around the corner. This year I might actually have some of my patriotic decor up before the end of June. I know, shocking. Especially when you consider that I just barely took my Easter decorations down. My word.
I got the idea for this project from The Letter 4 over at Be Different Act Normal. Theirs was subway art style, and it was mounted on some type of board or canvas. I didn’t have a board or canvas the size that I needed, so I decided to frame mine. And instead of subway art, I just used the words from the Pledge of Allegiance.
I printed out the pledge and the flag onto a piece of white cardstock and cut them both out. Then I inked the edges with black ink. I attached the little flag to the front. To get it to stand out, I glued a packing peanut (that I cut in half) onto the paper, then glued the flag on top of that. Much cheaper than using pop dots. And I am all about cheap. 🙂
