I hosted Book Club at my house yesterday. It was just the kick in the pants I needed to finish getting my Christmas decor up. To be honest, I didn’t get everything done. My mantle is only partway decorated, and I have more work to do in the family room. But I got the entry way done, so at least I have one nice area that we can enjoy. I am loving my entry table, it is so much fun to decorate!
All of the Christmas decorations are either made from stuff I already had, or stuff I purchased really cheap.
I bought the ornaments in the lamp at the thrift store for $1, then I added a red bow to the shade. I think green would probably look better, but I didn’t have any, so I’m not going to stress. 🙂
The large candle I purchased on clearance after Christmas last year. I just wrapped it with some scrapbook paper and tied some jute around the middle:
The three presents are blocks of wood that I wrapped with brown paper and tied fabric around. So cheap, but so cute!
The gingerbread boy and the Santa I made a few years ago. They are still some of my favorites!
I think this candle block might just be my new favorite decoration. I will be showing you how I made it next week.
The two trees are the project I showed you a sneak peek at the other day. I love how they turned out. I am working up a tutorial, so if you’d like to make your own, make sure you check back. 🙂
Do you have all your Christmas decorating done or are you like me?
