No one can resist this Hot Sausage Dip. It is absolutely irresistible served warm with tortilla chips. A perfect appetizer for any gathering!
I know, I know. This dip is not very pretty to look at. But trust me, after one bite you will not care what it looks like. It is so very tasty! I tried it at a party years ago, and it has been a favorite ever since.
Green chilies give it a little kick, but it’s not so spicy that the kids don’t love it. My kids can polish it off in a jiffy. Because once you start eating it, it’s hard to stop.
Another thing I love about this dip is that you make it in a slow cooker, so it is super simple. After browning the sausage and veggies, you just dump everything in the pot and let the crock pot do it’s magic.
It is definitely best served hot, so I like to either serve the dip straight from my tiny slow cooker, or keep it in the slow cooker and just scoop it out into a little bowl for serving.
I hope you’ll give this sausage dip a try, it is sure to be a hit! Every time I serve it, I get rave reviews, and I’m sure you will too.

I usually just buy Jimmie Dean sausage at Costco, but I’ve had great results with other brands as well.
