I work with the 16-18 year old girls at my church. When they turn 16 and come into our group, we like to take them a little something to welcome them in. We don’t have a huge budget, so I needed something relatively inexpensive. I came up with a cute Sweet 16 Birthday Gift Tag. I decided to play off of the saying “Sweet 16 and never been kissed”. We started out doing posters, but it got to be a little labor intensive. And I was always running to the store for more poster paper, because at my house it doesn’t last long without being ripped, wrinkled, or scribbled on. I wanted something a little easier to keep on hand. .
I just printed off a sheet of these tags, and they are small enough that I can store them in a cupboard in my craft room. Now when one of the girls has a birthday, all I have to do is fill a little bag with Hershey kisses and attach the tag to the front. Easy peasy! Everyone likes chocolate, plus it’s fun to tease them a bit when we drop these off. 😉
If you’d like to download and use the gift tags, you can either save the image below and paste it into a document to print. . .

Hello Kara,
I love your baby rag quilt tutorial, and can hardly wait to try making one. I love the fabric you used and especially the colors. The pink and chocolate brown are so great together. I would like to use the same colors and fabric. Where might I buy this?
Thank you for your help!!
