I am slowly making progress on our Entryway, and I am getting closer to actually showing the big reveal. The most dramatic change was of course the newly stained and painted stair railing. You can see a little sneak peek in the first photo. It is so much prettier now!
To match the new banister, I figured the wall decor needed an update as well. On the left side of our door, I hung the Framed Rustic Wood Sign that I made out of wood shims. On the right side, I decided to do a simple photo gallery, including a printable that I designed. Side note: I do not know how to take a picture of glass without getting all kinds of glare! I gave up.
I hung an iron scroll that I had in my stash. It was black, so I spray painted it white. All of the frames are painted thrift store finds. They are hanging from wood knobs with ribbon. Well, actually they aren’t actually hanging, it just looks like it.
And yes, the photos are a couple of years old. But they are cute, so they are staying. 😉
To finish off my simple photo gallery, I designed a simple printable that I printed on white cardstock and hung in a thrifted frame.
It is a perfect reminder for me that even on hectic, crumb covered floor, sink full of dishes days. . . that life really is good if I just take time to stop and notice it.
