I taught a lesson to my Young Women’s class last Sunday. The lesson was on strengthening our testimonies. I love to give handouts with my lessons, because I remember how much I loved them when I was in Young Women’s. Truth be told, I still have some of my favorites saved in a binder. I pull it out sometimes and read through them. Lots of memories in that binder!
I read a talk from Boyd K. Packer that talked about the importance of bearing testimony. I immediately thought of bears, then proceeded to make up a little tag. I went with cinnamon bears, but those cute little bear crackers would also work.
I just put a few of them in a little bag, then tied the tag on with curling ribbon. Cheap and easy! I also challenged each of the girls to bear there testimonies next month, especially the ones that will be leaving for college. Man I am going to miss them. 🙁
Here is a close up of my “Bear Testimony” Tag:
If you’d like to use it for your lesson, just click this link: Bear Testimony Young Women’s Lesson Handout. It will open up a PDF file that you can print off.

Hi Kara! 🙂 These are the cutest little bear tags ever! Is it possible for you to e-mail an editable version to me so I can make it into a visiting teaching handout? I am using this quote. President Elaine L. Jack
“We cannot always lift the burden of one who is troubled, but we can lift her so she can bear it well” (Church News, 7 Mar. 1992, 5). Thank you so much! I would really appreciate it!

I still have some of my YW handouts form when I was young too! 🙂 I always loved to get them. I’m sure your YW loved getting these too. This is so cute! Thank you for linking up to The Creative Exchange!

Glad to know I’m not the only YW handout hoarder out there. LOL!
