Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Dressing . . . just three ingredients make up this tasty salad dressing. Add it to any fruit of your choice for a light and tasty fruit salad.
Looking for a light and tasty fruit salad that is simple to throw together? This fruit salad can be made with any fruit you have on hand, and the honey lime dressing is simple, but so darn yummy!
The slightly sweet, slightly tart flavor of the limeade is a perfect compliment to the fruit. So refreshing during the summer!
How to make honey lime dressing:
Ingredients:
- honey
- frozen limeade concentrate
- poppy seeds
Honey lime dressing is just about the easiest dressing I’ve ever made. Just whisk together the three ingredients in a small bowl, and pour it over fruit of your choice.
What fruit is best with this dressing? This time around I used apples, strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and bananas. We’ve also tried nectarines, blueberries, and grapes. It is really versatile, so try it with your favorite fruit!
Can I make the dressing ahead of time? Absolutely! Just store it in a covered container in the fridge and it should be good for a couple of weeks at least. I recommend storing it in a mason jar. When you’re ready to pour it over your fruit, just give the jar a good shake and you’re good to go.
Limeade adds a nice fresh flavor that compliments just about any fruit. I have also substituted fresh squeezed lime juice, and that works well too. Use whatever you have on hand.
Everyone loves a good fresh fruit salad, and this one gets rave reviews every time I serve it!
