Print out this Valentine’s Day Ombre Art for quick and easy Valentine decor.
I had great plans for decorating for Valentine’s Day this year. But sub-zero temperatures, frozen pipes, a killer cold/flu that hit all of us, and two rounds of stomach flu have kind of put a damper in my plans. I sure hope 2013 takes a turn for the better, and soon!
I’m pretty sure I’m going to have to scale waaay back on my Valentine decor, but I have managed to at least make a few projects. I needed a filler for the console table in my entryway, so I came up with this Ombre Subway art.
I’ve never done ombre anything before, but I must admit that now I’m hooked. It’s such a fun look! I printed my subway art on white cardstock, then put it in a 4×6″ frame that I picked up at the Dollar Store. Easy Peasy!
I realize that in the photos the top four lines all look the same color, but in real life they actually get darker as they go down. I just could not capture an accurate photo to save my life. Never-ending overcast days didn’t help with my struggle, I can tell you that!
