Last year I was ambitious and made Thanksgiving treat bags for all of the 16-18 year old young women in my laurel class. It was a fun and easy project, and I whipped up about 20 in a couple hours. I made a free printable gift tag to go along with them. I forgot to share the printable and instructions last year, so I thought I’d post it early this year!
This is the printable gift tag I made. You could use it on any small gift, treat bag, or even attach it to the top of a wrapped loaf of bread. Perfect for all those people in your life that you are grateful for but sometimes take for granted.
If you want to make the little treat bags like I did, I am including the instructions. Have fun!
How To Make Thanksgiving Treat Bags
Supplies:
–Free Printable Thanksgiving Gift Tags
-Cardstock
-Two sided tape
-Hot glue and glue gun
-Small wrapped candies
Instructions:
Cut a piece of cardstock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″. Apply tape runner or two-sided tape to one of the short ends.
Now roll the paper up to make a tube, and pinch it securely together on the taped ends.
With the seam facing up, squeeze one end of the tube. Carefully add tape or hot glue and press the edges together firmly.
Now fill your container with treats! I used several different kinds of chocolate, because chocolate is the best!
To seal your treat container, pinch the open edge the opposite direction you pinched the bottom. Secure with double sided tape or hot glue.
Now cut out your free Thanksgiving tag and attach it to the front of your treat container.
