Young Women’s Birthday Tags . . . print out and attach these cute tags to any treat for a quick and easy birthday gift!
A few weeks ago I was called as the Young Women’s President in my ward (church). It is a huge time commitment, but I love it! We have about 40 girls in our group, and 18 of them are in my class. I’m quite sure they are some of the best girls on the planet, and I feel lucky that I get to spend time with them. I know some of you find that hard to believe, but these girls are seriously awesome!
The previous leader planned and purchased the birthday gifts that we give to every girl, but I also wanted to do something for the ones in my class. With my life as hectic as it is, I needed something quick and easy–and cheap. I decided to go with their favorite candy. Who doesn’t love chocolate? I had them fill out surveys about themselves when I got called, so I know what each girl likes–score!
I decided to make up some tags to cute-ify the candy. We have 8 values, and each one is represented by a different color, so I made flowers in the value colors. These birthday tags are perfect for Young Women’s, but really they could be used for any girly birthday gift. Cute packaging just makes any gift more fun to receive, doesn’t it? Unless you’re a guy. They just see all the extra ribbon and bows as a hindrance to getting to the good stuff inside. At least mine do anyway. 😉
If any of you would like to use the birthday tags, I have made a free printable. Just click on the link below, and you’ll be able to print them out. There are 8 on a page. They are closer to the color in the photo. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to make the colors on my monitor match the colors that come out of my printer. Anyone else have that problem?

Thank you for getting back to me ???? Please don’t worry about trying to get the file, that’s a lot of work for you. I will make the current size work. They’re such cute tags – thanks for creating them!

I LOVE the Happy Birthday card with the value color flowers. I need to have it be smaller. Is it possible to have you send me the file so I can adjust it?

Sorry, I designed them in Microsoft publisher on my old Windows computer. They can only be edited in Microsoft Publisher, so I can’t even get to them on my new computer because it’s a Mac. My husband is trying to come up with a solution, but we haven’t had any luck yet. š
