I love giving homemade Christmas presents. But I don’t always have a lot of time, and I still haven’t figured out how to make a money tree. So I’m always on the lookout for gift ideas that don’t take a ton of time or money, but are still something that I would love to receive. During this time of year when everyone is trying to stay healthy, we can all use some extra hand soap. And it might as well be cute, right?
Who wouldn’t love to have this on the kitchen counter or on the bathroom vanity? I think it would be perfect for neighbor gifts, or gift exchanges. And what about as a teacher gift? They can always use some extra germ prevention!
This gift takes less than five minutes to make. It doesn’t get easier than that.
You start with a jar of handsoap. I bought mine at Walmart for 98 cents.
Then I peeled the label off the front and back of the jar. (If you have any residue that sticks, you can use Goo Gone or another adhesive remover.)
Then all you have to do is apply the vinyl decal. Easy peasy!
And because I love all you amazing blog readers so much, I am doing a special on the vinyl decal in my Etsy shop. You can get 5 decals for $2.50. That’s only fifty cents! So you can make a cute handmade gift for around $1.50. Don’t forget to make one for yourself too. Merry Christmas! 🙂
*If you don’t see the decals in my shop, just keep checking back. I will try to re-list them as soon as they sell, but it may take me a few minutes.
